Call for Digital Arts Residents

Grow Twillingate is offering two digital arts residencies in 2021 of up to two months each. The first residency will take place from 1 June – 31 July 2021, and the second residency will take place from 1 August – 30 September 2021.

The residencies are open to emerging and established digital artists who use digital technology as a part of their arts practice. Applications are open to Atlantic Canada in 2021, and will be dependent on the COVID-19 regulations applicable in Newfoundland and Labrador.

Preference will be given to artists working with new and innovative and experimental creative applications of digital technology.

Artists will be provided with accommodation, studio space, a living stipend and a small contribution to materials.

As part of the residency, both artists will have the opportunity to present their work at the Unscripted Twillingate Digital Arts Festival beginning 16 September 2021.
